About IPE
Industry & Project Engineering s.r.o. (IPE) is a multidisciplinary engineering company in Michalovce, Slovakia, founded in 2006. We provide studies, design, permitting support in Slovakia and site support for industrial plants – for owners and investors, engineering companies and research consortia.
The company
IPE is based in eastern Slovakia, an established chemical and industrial region. Our project register counts more than 530 projects since 2006, with historical project sites in 22 countries.
Process, mechanical and piping, instrumentation and control, electrical and civil engineers work under one project manager on each assignment, with specialist partners where the scope requires them. Engineers authorised by the Slovak Chamber of Civil Engineers sign our permit documents.

Part of the STI group
Slovakia Technology Investments a.s. (STI), a technology investor based in Košice, holds 51 % of IPE; TECHNIS, s.r.o. holds 49 %. The STI group also includes Slovakia Supercomputers s.r.o., which works in artificial intelligence, embedded systems and 3D technologies. Within the group, IPE is the engineering company.
