Who we work with
Four ways to work with IPE
Investors & plant owners
Understand the asset and define the project. Technical due diligence, feasibility, engineering and Slovak permitting for acquisitions, new plants and upgrades.
For investors and plant ownersEngineering partners
A defined package within your project team. Engineering delivered to agreed scope, standards, model environment and issue milestones.
For engineering partnersResearch & pilot plants
Engineering for pilot and demonstration projects. Translate research requirements into equipment, interfaces, safety inputs and a practical delivery scope.
For research partnersCareers
Design industrial projects with an experienced team. Open applications in process, piping, electrical, instrumentation and civil engineering in Michalovce.
CareersWhat you can engage us for
Three ways to start
Each proposal defines IPE's deliverables, interfaces and exclusions. Specialist partners, for example for laser scanning, are named in the proposal where they take part.

Define an industrial investment
Technical due diligence of an existing plant, options and feasibility, capital and operating expenditure (CAPEX/OPEX) estimates, and the permitting route in Slovakia, so you can decide whether and how to proceed.
Investors and plant owners
Engineer an upgrade in an existing plant
Survey or laser scan of the existing condition, by IPE or a scanning partner, then tie-in design, detail engineering and documents for a planned shutdown – with interfaces agreed in advance.
Scanning and brownfield design
Engineer a pilot, demonstration or modular plant
Design basis, layout, mechanical, piping, electrical and control design, integration at the host site and safety inputs for units that take a process from research towards industrial use.

Three cases, with IPE's role and status

Corden BioChem: engineering an ethanol-plant conversion
IPE's role: audit of the available documents, coordination of the laser scan, revised process documents and detail design against the existing plant. Package 5 – pipe bridges and a 50 m loading platform, 104 t of steel – was issued for construction on 3 July 2026. Conversion ongoing; stated production target about 140,000 litres of ethanol per day.

Energyco for CORUS: a design package within a lead contractor's team
IPE's role: detail design and PDMS model of the continuous galvanising line DVL3 – 1,005 pipelines, 298 valves and 237 equipment items – delivered to Energyco, the engineering contractor. A historical example of package delivery that we apply in current partner work.
Partner examplesHow we work
Coordinated scope, controlled issue
One coordinated engineering scope, with specialist partners where required.
Scope and inputs
A written proposal with deliverables, battery limits, interfaces and exclusions, based on the information you provide.
Coordination and reviews
Disciplines work to agreed interfaces, in a coordinated 3D model where the project calls for one, with reviews with you at agreed milestones.
Internal check and controlled issue
Each document is checked by a second engineer and issued with revision control, to your numbering and templates where agreed.
Acceptance and support
Acceptance of the agreed deliverables, then site queries, designer's supervision and as-built updates where included.
